Haven't made a whole lot of progress in the last month -- work moved me to another store so that's occupied my time and I got a paid gig to help develop some parts of a commercial game so my time has been focused on that the last couple of weeks. So not dead, just on the back burner for a bit :D

So there's actually a lot changed under the hood with the new research interface partially built. I might go ahead and make a v0.8.8 release for ya, see if some of tgst crashing is improved.

Ivve still not been able to reproduce the conditions your save game ended up in. Really really weird. But we have found and squashed some other defects that may be related.

Sorry to hear about the medical issues, but I hope they are resolved at this point and things are much improved with everyone's health!

And thank you for continuing to develop this!  I've been seeing a lot more interest in this genre of game these days, and some wear their inspiration clearly on their sleeve (ie: 
).  The HD remake of the original Outpost is a noble pursuit, and you deserve kudos for your efforts!

Minor update -- got most of the visual elements in place for the master research report. Can't do a whole with it yet but at least the visual elements and layout are basically in place.

Did some digging through the executable and found these string tables, thought they may be of interest. Gives a bit of insight into the game.

I suspect these also match up to the AI voice sounds that are numbered though I haven't yet checked.

EDIT: Seems I've exceeded character counts. Bleh. Attached as a text file instead.
