Colony Game 2

Remember the colony games that were so much fun to play?  Remember the colony game II that mysteriously popped up after completing them?  Well, I do!  It was plymouth's entire base packaged into convecs with eden bases everywhere.  I want to play that map, but havent been able to unloack, find, or download it anywhere.  Help. Any information is greatly appreciated.

You are incorrect PlayingOutpost.
It is a official made map and it comes in one of the official packs.

The Plymouth Starship II game was always more fun than the original plymouth Starship, because you actually had Eden bases to deal with, imho.  They're all very predictable though as far as what the AI will do if you've played them a couple times.

Yeah, but try playing it on hard. Some whacky things can and have happened.

Such as, by tick 100, a Meteor hit my structure factory and I had to start all over :angry:

I like the newist version of that game, the one with a different map, I go to the platow in the top left corner of the screen where there is a 3 bar common a 1 bar common and a 3 bar rare, and there is only one way in so defence is easy

the eden coloney on the right never develops, and the one on the lower left (right below my base) fully develops, but concentrates all its defences on a spot where you cant even come in lol, while leaving its top completely undefenceless

I love just sending in starflares into there tokamoks at the right base (theres only lazer lynx there, and they never build more) and into the geo plants in the southern base (they are completely exposed) cutting off all power, so they cant build an army, so then, when Im ready, i just send in about 20 lynx and finish them off lol

this works even in hard lol

new maps are easy

beta's probably speaking about the Starship III

On Medium (Plymouth II) it is very easy, i only got two Lynx Lasers attacking me!

FYI, I built right below the main Eden Base to the right. I was playing on hard, and I was doing fairly well till a meteor hit my structure fact.

ya large falling rocks can cause some serious issues i had one hit my ady lab once killed like 14 scientists.  essentially stopping that colony from expanding for a loooooong time

most annoying thing ever: having a meteor destroy your only structure factory 10 minutes into Eden Population game on easy....it was not fun

I have had that happen to me only once, then it says "You have failed, our colony is doomed." That is a stupid way to loose a game.

funniest way to loose plymouth starship 2:

take a long time and completely destroy the eden bases, only to have the blight appear and you realize you haven't researched the starship part.

just play the new one, in the upper left there is a high area with only one entrence right above the left eden coloney, it is the best place to defend, plus you have an undefended route strait to eden geothermal plants, take those out, and the tokamok at the other base (there are only a few lynx defending there) and you can have fun watching eden suffer, trying to build more geocons for power, but once it does, you just take them out again lol

Is it possible to capture a loaded convec and get the kit inside? or does the kit get dumped? and what about the geocons and magma wells.... can they be captured, then used to build those structures for plymouth?

Yea, if you capture a convec/other cargo carrying thing, I think you do get the cargo.

If you capture a Cargo Truck or ConVec, you get their cargo aswell. However, if you capture a mining vehicle from Eden, I don't think you as a plymouth player will get it to settle on a magma well.

Been too long since I played, but I think I remember that extensive research doesn't transmit.

I might just be wrong, but I leave it up to you guys to test it.
