You don't get the point here. Time does not matter, as long as the bad reviews are out there, people whom we recomend the game to will find them and it will affect their decision of whether or not to try to find it.

I get that point but if you recommend the game to someone chances are you are friends with that person and they would believe you not some moron reviewer who didn't even give it a chance. It's hard to find a copy nowadays anyway although ebay has a few.

It's truly not a game for everyone. It takes a certain "mentality" to find it entertaining. OP takes a lot of micro managing and thinking. So many gamers are impatient. They want a quick game. Who would ever find a 4 hour game of SC fun... while many of us avid OP'ers loved one like that. Then again.. maybe it wasn't the game that was so enticing.. perhaps it was the friends that were made in the process. B)

I do not see how I am sidestepping the subject or changing it.. but no matter. It appears by your tone... if one can ascertain tone on a message board... that I have offended you. That was not my intention. As a matter of fact I too was going to post a review disagreeing with the gamesite reviewer until I saw the date he posted. I was just wondering if anyone else saw the date.
BTW, what is IKFAF?

If u want to know who silento is, lok through our member list and look at his profile, i know i saw him on once, i think he was the one looking for the floppy, or the entire game of OP1, one of the two.

Yes, i did see the date, and i'm with CK9 on this, the time it has been there means nothing as long as the bad reviews are out there. People have to try the game before they can have an opinion on it, not just read the review and have an opinion on the game. A lot of people are like that, they will read the review, and take the opinion on that review and make it their own.

RTS = Real Time Strategy.

Op2 is a RTS whereas Civ, for instance, is a TBS (Turn Based Strategy).
