I'm currently working on some Outpost2 lettering for my website but I can send them into xfir for an Outpost2 skin design

Just tell my what format you want the graphics file to be and i'll make it that.

Well, I suppose if you could, could you send it as a .psp? If not, then a .jpg or .gif will work (preferably the Jpeg, as the gif will lose a lot of color)

Judging by your graphics I would say that you would have Paint shop Pro 7
I've got Paint shop Pro 8, so I would gladly save the files as a .psp,
also each letter has its own vector so it would be easier to use them.

Okay... a couple minor things..

First of all, the logo above is transparent. The background I could change, but doing so is annoying.

Note also that the image is a gif. If you could possibly make the .psp file layered, with the text on top, that would be great.

Other than that, it looks pretty good.. I am unsure whether I like your new icon or not, however. But I don't use the default skin, so I guess it is more or less up to the community.

A couple things you should know:

• There will not be any changes to any files during the move
• The site will remain exactly the same, with the exception that it will be on a different server
• At the moment, people do not use all the skins. Most people still use the default

There will be new skins only if I decide to add them after I get everything working. Even then, it may not happen.

EXcuse my lanuage but the D_A_MN hard drive that was on my p 75 had themes and skins in it and im pretty sure it had a lot more usefull stuff but this hd is going to get its @$$ kicked if i don't get to those files. I dont remember but i had practaclly everything that was on the net at the time op2 was up and on won, and im not sure if i might actually have a map editor that was created from a members i knew on won...... :find:

I could do an OP2 skin. With PNG's and not JPEG's. I could make the bottom of the page appear as New Terran landscape, and the rest is the sky. Just give me a landscape and a sky image.

The easiest landscape to do would be the view of the colony while the RLV is launched in the Starship colony game cutscenes. I can't take screenshots of parts of videos for some reason, so someone needs to take one for me.

Or, if someone could make a custom landscape in a program like Brice, that'd be even better.

Why do you keep reposting your reply in front of mine? I don't need those screenshots now... due to the rocket engine fire and the AA'ing on those pictures. The skin is for the board.

Anyway, as for changing parts of a mission briefing image, here is what I have right now: (Takes work getting rid of the background and the text...)



It's not meant to fill the entire bottom of the page. Just the lower left corner. The sky will be done later, which will cover the bottom.

For me, it works perfectly fine.

And resizing often causes distortions or pixelation in images... and anti-aliasing it will make it look odd as well.

I didn't attatch the image in that thread because it stretched the page. Besides, it looks bad. The normal sized version of it would look better.

I'm almost done with the skin, I just need to make the buttons. Unfortunately, there's a lot of button images...
