I had trouble with the "get." Otherwise, I read it like a normal sentence =Þ I used to have a friend that talked like that…

It's not all that hard to read really... although the context is not a smart one...

actually, reading something like is more psychological than knowing leet speak

we as humans have an instinct for 'completeing the circle' where if we see a jumble of words that resembles the intended word OR the intended word with letters missing, we will instinctively fill in the blanks, so reading leet speak is easy because your brain will fill in the blanks...

with a few exceptions, for example, i couldnt comprehend anything in that after 70, because my head just switched over to reading them as numbers

Yeah, and on a side-note, you can actually read words that have their original first and last letters in their place, but all other words are jumbled inside it.

For example: eiogsnianxatun

For those who couldn't read it, it's:

It only works if you actually know the word in the first place. :P And I have no idea what that word means...

Bleeding out. I couldn't read that. I think it mostly works for words people are more familiar with. Plus, that's really jumbled up. Probably doesn't work so well when you jumble the letters by more than simple transpositions.

What does it mean if you can remember the phrase just by reading the topic title. Particularly on a thread as old as this one.

DISTURBING, maybe. Have no dictionary/ working spellchecker? LEARN the language.

And no, it's the spam/test forum. The only real reason to close a topic in this section is because of flaming/trolling and generally bad behaviour.
