i installed the client on one of the comps at my school, and it works fine. no one was on for a game of op2 though.

we don't have a firewall, we use proxy filters, they work so much better, but it restricts u to which sites u can go, and wht programs u can use, like gsa wont work, cause gamespyarcade is n't a site we are allowed to go to.

you must be in college, because our computers in high school are secured up the wazoo, and we normally dont get more than 30 min at a time on them

i'm high school, the comp teacher doesn't mind games on his comps, i normaly play mohaa all lunch, and somtimes during german, cause he is the german teach too.

Does anybody else notice that theres never anyone on the OP2 multi server? I've only seen two other people so far since I started logging on, and both of them didn't respond to my requests for a game.

BTW, here's another advance:

I'm working on a java client that will allow people to access the multiplay server from anywhere.. (Obviously, you can't start/join a game, but you will be able to chat thru it.... a little like AIM Express)

This will be good for you, Beta, and other people that either can't download the client, it won't work for them, or are on a different O/S (like linux, or mac or something).
