I know I'm new here, but after lokking around your site, playing the original and your version, and trying a bit of coding, I started wondering: "Hasn't anyone thought about asking Sierra for the source code?" It would make our lives much easier.
Now I know that there is the whole question of propery rights and such, but what profit does Sierra make on the game anymore? Its not like they would have much to lose from giving it to the community. I imagine it would be similar to the source code of Doom being released. And if they released it under a open source policy, there would be no worry out others making money off of it.
Perhaps its just a crazy idea, but whats the harm in asking. The worst that could happen is no for an answer. I propose that the community start a petition for Sierra to release the source code for Outpost 2. Who agrees with me?
