Ideas for OP3:NP

it would still autorepair, but it has to have drawbacks to being able to launch, wich is why it would has a chance to explode when damaged if it is full of propellent

and for reentry, the damage would make it so it has a max of 2000 hp left, wich would encurage placement of the seed coloney soon because the reserves to repair the vec would run out soon

also mabe have it so that if it has fuel in it, it cant build, since it is using space from the factory to store the propellent, of corse than it would have to have a empty option incase you decide not to launch

well if it goes idle, of corse it would expell all of the fuel (and mabe leave a package) but it would also expell all the mettals, even with the packages, it would still be a drawback, but hay, you'll think of somthing lol

The easter egg, are we suppossed to come up with our own? If so...

On April 1st, the only combat vehicle buildable is the "Ocelot" chassis, equipped with heavy armor, five weapons, is very cheap, and is quite fast. The downside: it can only be equipped with starflare/supernova.   ;) Campaign mode is disabled for the day, and everybody starts with all possible research. Player color and race/faction is chosen randomly.

Oh, by the way, maybe as a type of "disaster," a solar eclipse (perma-night) or increased solar activity (perma-day)?

what about having a missle to bring down another coloneys sats, or one part of the starship?  of corse it would be very expencive, but would be nice to get rid of somones soler power right before you invade, or slow down their starship program so you can catch up

and mabe even have defence sats, that whould shoot down the missle 25% of the time per sat 2 for 50% protection or somthing like that?

Rocket: "Solar Eclipse" Missle
Effect: Deactivates a Solar Sattelite of your choice for <duration>.

Research: EMP Effect Magnification
Requirements: Electromagnetic Pulsing, Solar Eclipse (the research), Rocket Atmospheric Re-entry System
Effect: Doubles the EMP Duration for the EMP Weapon, Missile and "Solar Eclipse".
Teaser:<teaser here>
Description: All EMP weapon's duration has been doubled.

The Rocket Defense (i think i said it will be, above :P) will have a large area of defense and a fully operational supersystem: 2 EMP and 2 Magma Cannon or Gas Bomb. It has an own reactor so the bulding wont need power. And it is controlled remotely. However it has a limit of 4 Rocket Defenses per Command Center.

One suggestion to PlayingOutpost if this suggestion became real:

You'd have to verify that it was really April 1st against the internet (otherwise people could easily change their system date if they didn't want this)

Also, you'd have to come up with a solution in case their internet connection wasn't active.

for a tiger, it has 2 starflairs/supernovas, and yet there is no increase in the explosion, so will having 5 be the same as having 1, or will it make a really big explosion?

True, i think i should do it if i have an April 1 easter egg. :D
Or could be it on haloween?
Or any other "special" day?

But i think i have an idea... Oh well it is a secret against cheaters.
They won't even suspect it i assure you. :D

Yeah, Beta, true, having ummm.... well "stronger" novas... so i don't have a  point why OP2 has them...
Panthers are relatively a bit... easy-to-kill in OP2, so i thought of giving them more hitpoints. And, as Panthers are not SO slow they can destroy a bit of enemy army...
Tiger Starflares do Double Damage.
Tiger Novas and Lion Novas and Starflares will have a bigger AOE (Area of Effect).

ok, just to test my point I tested if a lynx starflair did the same amount of dmg to a cc as a tiger starflair

they do

but making it different in your new game would make it alot better, because currently there is no reason to use anything but lynx for sucide missions
