Hey you guys, you know a lot abou op2 and have hacked in it a lot so why not place a faq in gamefaqs.com?
i can be a strategy one as well as an game mechanics one no?

Yeah, placing a game mechanics guide and strategy guide would be good for gamefaq's.

However, I think that creating a hacking guide and putting it on there would be too in depth for most.

You do have to know what you are doing. (Like, it's nothing that a first time programmer would do or could do... I've been programming for 5-6 years now.)

I personaly don't think it would be a good idea to put up a hacking guide anywhere othere than in here. If we go spreading around info that has to do with hacking the programming code, even if it is old and not used, there is a chance that Sierra will take legal action against all those involved.

But isn't it also true that Kevin got permission for the entire community to reverse engineer the program?

So long as we don't give it away free, we are allowed to reporgram it.

Anyway, Dynamix has been shut down. They held the original code anyway.

I didn't meant placing a hacking guide in it, i just tried to say that since you hacked in it the mechanics would be more clear.
There is also a faq there from a guy that sincerely, it must have ruined the game fame around there y'know?
Also, somewhere among the various forums we used in the past i heard that the op2 original code was lost in cleanup they made.

I can come up with a bunch of strategies, just can't ever test them because I don't have the skills needed.

I agree.. Do not post any of the Dan's cheats.... Also, do not post trainers in an easy-to-get-at spot.

Hacker, I had a period of about 2 years without playing online. Before it, plymouth would have been begging for mercy. I have forgotten what it was I did.

ck, i've been playin op2 for less then a year online, it wasn't till August or something like that that i discovered these boards and that there are several projects goin on. Your probably right about me have been begging u for mercy 2 years ago, my strategy was way off then, and i lost to noobs on sta2 then.

What's wrong with cheats? :ph34r:
I don't know abou multiplayer and if they work there but in single player they really enchance the game after you have fineshed it 100% dosn't they?
I myself do things twice, play normal then i fuss up with cheats.
It's fun to smash that whole army that gave you lots of trouble int that level with just 1 unit.

PS:Also, I would reeealy apreciate someone whooping me online for me to learn how to play

um, i agree, if u were once as good as lev. The next update for op2 should have the ability to make it so u can't attack ur oppenent(s) untill a specific period is up, say 5 mins, then we would have a chance against lev. And prime, ur not there, and i want a game of op2, lev is afk, and has been afk the hole day it seems.
