YOU should know!   cliffs slow the growth of blight significantly - as does darkness

Or the guy on the other side of the blight laughing at the guy in the scout...

Eddy, every time I've seen the blight come to a cliff, it spilled over before it had progressed that far

What map is this? It doesn't look familiar, but then again I might just not be paying enough attention.

Blight growth speed is determined by the cell type. The cell type affects the speed of all units, and it depends on their track type. One of the types seems to be specialized for blight growth. I've played with it before to see what happens. Cliffs have much different values, hence why it spreads so much slower over them. It's also different depending on whether it's the high side or the low side of the cliff.

Btw, speaking of oh s*** scenarios....

either you edited the pic, or you made those cells blight-resistant/immune

Yep, but how did you get the blight color on the dirt?

Anyway, in the first image, How the heck did you get an ORANGE scout!?!

I want Orange as my player color! :D

CK9, it was a special level where those two cells were blight immune. I never did figure out how to keep the edges smooth though.

OKay well it surrounded the scout because there is an opening  just below.. and the blight spilled out of that before  it came over the cliff. THe colour orange is an exe patch i have made for the survivor series of maps.

If you're talking to me, then I just wanted to know what a certain bit in memory did. Well, I figured out the bit. So I guess that project was a success in that sense. It was also fun to see what kind of control I could get over the blight.

if only they had that type of control in the story

I just hope they don't explode
