Hi, I found you guys while trying to install both op1 and op2 and I must say that I am extremely impressed, without you I would have never gotten op1 on xp.  I own both games, but I've really forgotten how to play them.  Do you know of any good online summaries of op1?  Thanks for your help, and thanks for the support you provide.

I think Andy has already installed the game but ye, erm i do rememeber seeing some kind of tutorial.

Erm on the Outpost 1.5 disk (or ISO image if you downloaded it) there is a tutorial file.

Its in the MANUAL folder called: OUtP_GB.pdf

At the end of it like page 72 and gives a turn by turn what to do from turn 1 to turn 81
enough to get your colony off the ground basically.(well on the ground should i say)
