Building walls next to lava

I thought someone had come up with a hack that allowed building walls right next to lava flows. Would appreciate an assist if such code exists somewhere. I thought maybe it was Caught in the Crossfire 2, but I didn't see it in the source code with a quick glance (might just be missing it).

Where did you even get a copy of the CCF2 source?!  I don't recall that ever being given out.
