OutpostHD v0.5.2 Released!
« on: June 27, 2016, 12:41:50 AM »
OutpostHD v0.5.2 is now officially ready for release!

What's New

Change list is pretty extensive. Most of the changes are under the hood and so you won't see much on the surface. However, the internal changes pave the way for further development.

  • New Buildings: Residential Structure and Storage Facility have been added.
  • Status Bar UI: Storage Capacity and Food Capacity are now displayed. Energy Production vs Consumption now displayed.
  • Resource Storage: Colonies now have a built-in 250 storage capacity. Storage Tanks increase this base storage.
  • Automatic Trucking: Ore is now automatically trucked from all active mines to the Smelter. Refined resources are now automatically trucked to storage facilities.
  • Production Queues: Smelters and Mines will go idle if their on-site storage fills up.
  • Building Costs: Structures will now deduct resources from your resource pools when you attempt to build them. If you don't have enough resources to build a structure, you will not be able to insert them.

Bugs Fixed
  • Fixed a mistake in GameState in which clicks within the digger direction dialog were ignored when the dialog was hidden.
  • Fixed a mistake in the logic of several Structures that would make inappropriate calls to incrementAge().
  • Fixed a logic mistake in MineFacility that would set the building to Idle as soon as it became active.
  • Fixed a mistake in ResourcePool where reporting and setting food and energy values were swapped.
  • Fixed another mistake in ResourcePool's operator-=() and operator+=() that was swapping food and energy resources.
  • Fixed a crash bug waiting to happen in StructureTranslator.

Gimme Gimme! Where do I get it?

Head over to the main thread and look for the 'Current Build' section.
