It's a meteoric ore mining port. If the planet hasnt got large meteoric activity, then you should build this, and you can build cargo ships to mine Meteoric Ore from outer space. (anyway for full details, read the Progress often)

The next pic is an old rusty Consumer Factory.

But if the research is there, you have to have a building to go along with it.

btw the way it is green would sugest that it is mainly made of copper, since when copper oxadizes and turns green (eg the Statue of Liberty)

but New Terra has a low amount of O2, so unless its made of another material that reacts with CO2 and turns green, wich wouldnt make since, because they woule be mainly made from Aluminum, Steel, and Titainium

I dont know why I thought of that through, mabe because its 1 in the morning and im bored lol

Maybe it's painted that way. Maybe they're on a new planet a lot like Earth. Maybe it's just a game and the rules of real life don't apply since you can make your own rules when you make a game.

Betaray: close enough... i put it in Paint Shop pro and Hue mapped it.
anyway the word "abandoned" rings any bells?
and it isnt sure it will be Consumer Factory...

Third Picture - Martian Standard Lab (Advanced Advanced Lab lol) (Read the update section) The Martians use the green-red colored buildings
and their color is always black or white.

Do you plan on doing most/all of the images in Paint Shop Pro? Because I have some (very limited) experiance in Paint Shop Pro and might be able to help you a little.
What is it good for? Absolutly nothing!

well u could send me some pics, and if you do you will be added to the credits as Co-OP3 Creator and u can make a building with stats u want (just send art of it lol)

Now anyways the Eden and Plymouth in Campaign 1 will be on 6 different planets and will be at 2 planets at the same time.

The Martians have left Earth (cuz they were once Earthlings =) ) in a cataclysm sized meteor storm. Mars was a good planet to deploy. They unleashed the next Blight series which cant infect. It formed Mars to look like Earth. Also it was programmed to make Water, animals, etc. There is only one thing that remained as Red Planet - the flag of Earthlings (Martians).

Of what? Stuff that I've done or images from Outpost 2 that I've edited? Because if its the ladder, I havent really edited any OP2 images, since I haven't really had any cause to. I dont really care about the building stats and stuff I just want to help out. If you want images I've created besides OP2 I could send those in a day or two.

Edit: Ahh, I see what hue mapping is now. The only problem is the only way I can get OP2 images (that I know) is to take screenshots and then copy/paste into MSPaint then PSP and then edit. I am pretty sure that I can help you here if you just get me the images or tell me how to extract them or whatever.

I dont know if this is good or not (prolly not cause I cant find the right color theme in the hue editing window to fit your Adv. lab theme), but this is what I did in like 5 minutes.

Edit: BTW that brown stuff is the terrian that the robo-dozer was occupying at the time of my screenshot.

Here is another one. It is just about the same mapping as the Dozer.

Edit: Same thing about that brown under the Earthworker, its the terrain from the screeny I took.

Note to you PlayingOP2: You should be using bitmaps for the game instead of GIF (first of all, bitmaps are less of a performance hit, and look the nicest (no lossy ness, and 24 bit support) second of all, you'll be unable to legally sell your game using GIF's for storage (I think). GIF is patented by IBM and Unisys and a license to legally use the GIF compression technology in your software costs thousands of us dollars.
