Another update.... sadly shortly after my last post dispite the hard drive pasing the Western Digital Tests a few days prior it died. As such I just got my new hard drive set up and waiting to see if the same happens.
On a side and mysterious note I have found out by turning off the num lock key the mouse works 80% of the time from boot up.
