alright, y'all needd to suffer by reading another one of my eternally dumb ideas, no matter how you look at it.

Perhaps... if someone was any good at drawing, we could make and animated show for YouTube or Newgrounds or something based on the storyline of OP2/OP3. it might interest more people into joining our commmunity, and thus, make it a little easier to find people that have programming experiance and thus, we get things done faster >_<

It went thru my mind with Leowen to do a short Outpost micro-series consisting of 5 or 6 10-minute 3D shorts recapping the Outpost 2 storyline.  (Based on my Cinema work for OP3:Genesis.)

What type of animation did you have in mind? 2d (like those anime shows) or 3d?

well you could do it in 3d but it would take awhile. I think we have more people here that are more talented towards making 3d objects anyways. So what are you thinking of is this going to be a machinima?

Yeah with the OP3 engine hence the 3d part seeing that OP2 is 2d.

good luck with this guys I won't be around for awhile I have to leave for camp in a couple hours and will only be back on saturdays until august.

it doesnt really matter, I cant draw 2 o 3 dimentional worth s***, so it would be up to whoever is willing to actually go and do it.
