AI?  Bah.   It consists of a large series of triggers.   There IS no OP2 AI.

Just post.   Its based entirely on num posts.   As for your dailup, you arn't the only one.   Shamanar suffers from the curse of dialup, and he gets into games pretty often...   He just can't play with more then 3 players (game speed drops to 1 or less)   So show up anyway!   Plenty are willing to play, and I'm sure Shamanar would love to have somebody to lag with :P

Hey there Steve!
Another new 'face' on the OP-scene .. enjoy your stay on the forum, come take a look in the chatroom, and play online.

When it comes to AI, there's not many people you can talk to. Unfortunately i'm one the few....  and i haven't been spending too much time lately on OP2 (AI) coding, but i promise you: ONE DAY there WILL be a skirmish for this game!

Welcome. Eddy-B is the bomb at OP AI. If you want a skirmish map, Eddy can probably get you on your way...

Hey now.

Linux > Windows any day as far as stability is concerned. Not to mention it's open source. The only reason I'm using windows is because a lot of the software I use forces me to use it :-/

Yes, I would say that there are many things in unix that could have been done a lot better but overall it does a lot better than any microsoft product.

I don't listen to them a lot, but they're not too bad. As far as the music I listen to, it can vary quite a bit (with a preference for hard rock / metal)... as an example, as I'm writing this post, I'm listening to Mina Loy by Billy Corgan (soft rock, almost techno-ish... it's kinda hard to describe)... now I'm listening to Illuminate by Mnemic (death metal).

But anyway, yeah, I like a lot of music and I do find Saosin to not be too bad.

And as always: welcome to the Outpost Universe!

Err yes, welcome.

Btw, that ealier post was in reference to the popular flash animation that went around the net awhile back. It was about how stable and reliable Linux was, and how perfect it was for "Steve", the evil supervillain, to use in his plans to take over the world. It was great. Really, it was. Kinda makes me want to be an evil supervillain actually.

Hey Steve, welcome, have fun, play. And  human intelligence >  pwn AI. So come and  play with us!

Also: That does it! I am switching to LINUX!
if anyone finds and communicate to us that which thus far has eluded our efforts, great will be our gratitude.

Aha. Well, if you ever decide to go that route, I hear Linux is a good platform for controlling your evil empire. :P

(Btw, I don't use Linux either. I'm a big Windows fan. I do use other OSes, but just not any variant of Linux at the moment. I also don't have an evil empire.)
