Everybody knows that, when you drive a vehicle on to another person's docking bay, your vehicle gets damaged.

What everybody DOESN'T know is that, when you do that, THE STRUCTURE ABSORBS HEALTH FROM THE VEHICLE!

its pretty cool, we used it to heal the spaceport in swarm, thats how we found out about this lol

I have a feeling that this was an intentional 'feature' by Dynamix -- this isn't something that could happen by accident due to a bug.

I think it's kind of interesting, having seen it myself...

I would've had the comm. log open, so you could see the mark and know that it was getting healed from it.

Why? They can try it themselves!
Just start your own multiplayer game and join it!
Damage anythng with a dock and drive a vehicle owned by another player over it.
NOTE: These Lynx had 1000 HP. Results may vary depending on the vehicle's HP.

I think this is a feature designed to deter an enemy from putting a unit on your docking bays and prevent the owner from using them.

It's not the damage part we're emphasizing here, it's the absorption part.

Yeah.. my feeling is that the people at Dynamix probably thought, "let's hide something in the game that people might not notice like this."

well sure enough, no one has noticed it for 9 years. (Probably because no one stops on another person's docking bay)

Maybe this idea came first and then the damage idea came later so that people might not try it.

well ive tested, it works on other things besides swarm, and for every building with a docking bay

an intresting thing is, they dont heal from scouts, im not sure why, buildings can heal from surveyors that have the same hp, but for spaceports at least, a scout does not heal
