Guys, i havent been on in a while, more like a year, but thats not the point. I wanted to know if op2sock had beed finished. Has it? Could someone re-update me about what's happened new? anything cool going on?

p.s. can someone spare me the "make name glow effect" thing? i had it on my other account, but i got a virus and made all my forum stuff dissappear :huh:  so uhh ill be off for now :whistle:

I think OP2sock was scrapped after Hamachi was found

Yes, op2sock has been scrapped, and we now use a VPN program called hamachi for people who can't portforward.

It is unlikely that op2sock development will take place any time soon (probably not ever). We might try to do further 'improvements' however to make OP2 more NAT friendly, however. (The concept of such a project would be identical to op2sock, but it would become an integral part of the game, something op2sock never intended to be)

Heh, Thanks, im in U.S. for 2 months now, but when i get home ill check it out, and i wont be leaving this forum for a while! I find it almost fun, and there aren't any loser/noob idiots that are 10 yrs old :D
