Welcome back, great to c u :D

I would c if you can help with genesis or other projects or work on something else and accept that TFC is dead. Genesis is now the OP3 and you know it will be far better than anything you can create. So dont waist your time tbh.

My post is probly not what you want to hear and it may sound harsh but its true and personaly i think you should give up on ur project because there is no way you can do it all by ur self.

Person invalued to say for don't k'now motive why he is doing projected. Just may take long while to do project does not mean that  he lose his drive to keep work on projected. Consider he has not quit doing after big break, I don't think every going give up on working it. But as I said all depened what motive him for doing.

Great that you are still working on this.

And I don't really see a reason to abort tfc. This could become just another fun Outpost game. And since you seem to be really dedicated to it, I don't doubt that you'll finish it.

Good luck with this game!

Hey! I remember you! I think...

Hmm, yes, I have to agree with Lev... And Genesis seems to be developing nicely...
Maybe there's a way to integrate the two projects?

That laim reason for them to be intergated or for it too stop.

Plus realy like know motive behind it. For without know the motive  behind it then can't real say wether he should ingerated it or keep work on it.

But I definally think it shame just kill the project.

Right Motive for valuaded of keep work on it(that can think of)
Get more experice codeing game for scratch to finish.
You have cool storyline/idea's that you want to be full controll of.
Something can show that did to find paid proggraming job.

I would say to forget about the Acknex game studio. It's crap. Period. There's no disputing that fact (and it is fact).

Instead, shell out the $100 to the Torque Engine by GarageGames. It's far better and the commercial liscence (with complete source) is only the $100 I mentioned earlier.

I'm not using Torque because it limits me in many ways and, quite frankly, there are few engines that rival the new FPS games and NO free game engines that come close (hence the new one for OP3. read more in the Map Format thread for info about it).

EDIT:

I forgot to say, welcome back!  (thumbsup)

Rival? No rivaling needed. Leviathan's opinion is his own.

I'm just saying not to bother with the Acknex engine 'cause it's crap. Use Torque instead. It's also free for use as well (but the commercial version gives you full source).

Anyway, the welcome is genuine...  (thumbsup)

Haha, Harsh Return? That was a wide variety of responses. =P  I'm going to be seeking voice talents soon for the Savants soon (male, and female).  Lol, since we're adding new projects, anyone interested in making a Outpost 2 FPS?

But I am serious when I say I'm going to make this project, and there's no stopping it. As long as I have a little member support, I'm going to continue. Plus, I already own the domains =P For those of you that support me, thank you.

As for Leeor, I understand what you mean.  I have considered the torque engine, and I am going to look into it further.  As of right now, all of my models are able to be exported to many popular formats, so I will see what I can do.

Oh, I get what you said now. Okay ^_^.  I'm working on the intro AVI. I haven't worked in 3D for so long, so I'm a bit rusty... But this'll be good practice
