Interest Upgrade Not Working?

it does not seem my interest upgrade I bought is working.  I should have made 96.5 ore but I only made 57.9 today.   I have been noticing a problem with it but I had to see a couple days of it first.   I have a 5% interest rate but I am only making 3%

Is it a glich in the system or something I did wrong?

Yeah, it says I should be making 55 ore and all I get is 33...

Yes, I'm definately getting less than 5% interest.  

Seems like it only tells you you're getting 5% (and the actual amount shown is 5%) but it only increases your bank balance by 3%.

Yeah, it takes a while to save up enough to buy that. But I wouldn't worry about it right now since it doesn't seem to work. Save your ore and collect interest on it.

It is difficult when you are the only person doing it and you don't have a whole lot of time to fix it.   Since Hacker is the only one doing it, it may take a bit to fix.

Btw, I think it's unlikely anyone other than Hacker would be allowed to work on this. We don't want people getting unauthorized access to the database. It could be a big problem is someone either does it wrong, and screws the database or allows unrestricted access to it, or if someone intentionally puts a backdoor in.

So yeah, needs to be someone who knows PHP (PHP right?), which Hacker does, and it needs to be someone we can trust with access to the database, which Hacker already has. Even if you wrote a patch and passed it to Hacker to verify, he'd still have to spend time looking it over to make sure it was good.

But hey, up to Hacker on what he wants to do.
