Compression Help Please

Okay, I made a movie file, now I need to get it online to send to someone, but it's too big of a file.  I've tried zipping and rar, niether get it small enough.  Anyone know of a way to get it any smaller?

Well you have made the movie file and used some sort of compression on it, with a video codec. If it was uncompressed frames it would be very big. I would suggest usesing a better compression avi video codec, like xvid. even if you compress the file with best rar compression after that you wont lose much file size at all because the file cant be compressed anymore.
