I evicted these two members (these does not mean block) because I just found out that there is a user limit to how many members you can have per Hamachi network. 12 members i beleive, but this is NO problem, because we can create multiple networks. And I just did:

Main Network
Name: outpostuniverse.net
Pass: opu
2nd
Name: outpostuniverse.net_1
Pass: opu
3rd
Name: outpostuniverse.net_2
Pass: opu

If you cant connect to one because of user limit or some connection error, try one of the others, get the person who are going to be playing with connected to the same one, and get playing :)

and those who don't have win2k/XP, please don't download hamachi. It won't work on your comp and you won't ever be able to play against people who can only play with hamachi.

btw. if this is really a virtual network program, users have to be aware that everyone in their network can access shared files and directories on their computer (if not password protected).

TH300 I have told people to disable file sharing, check my guide:
outpostuniverse.net/hamachi.php

If you have old version of windows you can only play over the internet.

IMO, we really shouldn't get hamchi-centered. Like TH300, if you have a old ver of windows, you can't play with users on hamchi. 56k users are also screwed.EX:

Hamchi+Highlander+Levi+Me=GS of ~10
Hamchi+Highlander+Levi+Me+SpeedNine (56k)=GS of ~2

When we play with speednine normally, we get game speeds of ~10.

All i'm saying is that we can use it, but we shouldn't make it the standard. Setting up the router is still the best idea.

Its not the standard so what are you talking about?! Were not making it the standard! Its an option, if needed.

Its used for people who cant play over the internet.

Yes its lagy for modem users, like that 4 player game. Not sure about 2 player. SpeedNine and modem users should stick to just playing over the internet.

OK joe you cant compare 3 cable users  to 3 cable users and a 56k.  The 56k now has to talk to 3 people which makes it slow you were lucky you even got a game. I have played on hamachi and my game speed were slightly slower staying about game speed of 3 rather then 3or4 right of my modem. You got the arrogants of the fast connection just beacuse you can send a recieve fast as possible the 56k is limited to a 4.8 K upload and a 5.4 k <(that one is a guess) download.  You really need to stop tell people it sucks and they shouldnt use hamachi if you dont want to use it fine but dont ruin it for the set be maken people leave.

The hamachi is great for one and all

Yes i understand that Freeza. But we've played games w/ speednine at full speed w/ 3 players.

I'm also going to stop using it aswell, as it disables all my servers due to the messing with the net settings it does.

It's because hamachi uses SSL on everything that gets sent thru it. (That takes extra time to decode).

It doesn't have to screw with your servers. If they are proper servers edit their configs to bind to the internet connection adapter (eth card) not the hamachi adapter or "Any available".

But yes, if you make another negative remark about how you think hamachi sucks or shouldn't be used I am just going to delete it.

joe set ur servs 2 only use net ip.

whats anoying is, it encryptes the data stream, which makes game speed slower. the newer version will have a option for no encryption, but its only gonna be in the payed for version.

Please leave the network when you leave hamachi not just go offline. It saves me eviciting people all the time and the chanch of the networks geting full. Because network 1 got full on friday when i was asleep people had to move to the second network, if you leave the network this wont be needed unless more than 12 people are online at once.

Rember you have to be on the same network to play the person.
