OP:Renegades beta site

Today i've updated the site html files.
Everything has been moved to a new vhost: http://beta.eddy-b.com :Betaray:
Only "registered" beta-testers can download things off this site at the moment. For now, we have enough testers, but we may need more in the future.
Also on this site, but not yet operational, will additional information be placed about OP : Renegades, including a video of the first mission. For now, these files are only available to beta-testers.
[EDIT] The above items have been added to the public part of the beta-site. it also includes some screenshots and other files

Mission 2 has gone into alpha testing (meaning i myself am testing it for crashes and hangups), and will be put into beta as soon as i can confirm there are no more crashes wich won't be any time soon i guess  :angry: since i keep getting exception!

Ideas for missions 3 & 4 are beginning to take shape, but we still need a lot of creative thinking for missions 5 thru 11; since mission 12 is pre-defined: get everyone to the spaceship.. lol

Sorry -- this webservice is currently running locally, and the service crashes every now and then (about twice a week). Also, if my pc is turned off, which hardly ever happend, the files are not accessable and will return a 404 - not found error.

The advantage of a local server is that i do not need to upload every little file each time it changes, but people can directly access my current project(s) as they develop.

IF you find the pages to be offline, just drop me a private message on IRC. If i'm there i'll reset the server again.

As of today the beta-host will be closed for the current team, and reopened as soon as mis4 coding is done.
This is all in your best intrest, so i can surprise all of you with the first set of 4, when it comes out (later this summer is my guess).

New beta-testers can already apply thru: renegades@eddy-b.com
Please supply your nickname (+irc nick if it differs), and preferably your real name. Beta-testers will be included in the credits by their nickname.


NOW, the beta download area is really closed!
Those of you that DID manage to download the first mission pack (mis1&2) please contact me a.s.a.p.
