"when I Was Your Age..."

No, this isn't about Eddy-B at his corpselike age of... what, 89?

The rules are simple. Start with "When I was your age" and then say what it was like all those years ago. Ramble on about fake war stories if you want, or whatever. I shall start.

When I was your age, we didn't have a number that high!

when i was your age we didnt have computers. we had a device known today as the "type writer" whicn back in that day we called a "word gun." youd have to walk all the way to albany to get to use someones word gun. back in ought-six some bank clerks were held up by a man with a word gun and when poor miss axleby made her husband leave us with the word gun she kept under her bed, wellsir... it was darn tough to find a way to get wording done anywhere. it was about that time that.......... *trails off*

When I was your age, I typed up assignments for school on a teletype machine. =)

(Ok, maybe I was a little younger than most people are on here now)

When I was your age, most computer games were actually GOOD (rather than the corporate crap released today), the NES was still on the market, SuperNES was an awesome system and PlayStation was just coming out. I was also playing OUTPOST 1 regularly and watching the progress of OUTPOST 2 until the day it was released.

(lol, hooman, it can be some made up junk, it even says so in the topic post)

When I was your age, we didn't have these confounded devices you speak of, why when we wanted to play a game, we knocked someone over, stole of of their shoes, and have them run so we could play 'kick the kid with only one shoe on.'  We didn't even never had no ball!  We used rocks when playing stick ball, and if you died you lost!

When I was your age, we didn[t have our own music, we had to pay the local bard to sing something, and he was horrible!  But we paid him every day

When I was your age, we had to walk five miles in the snow to play multiplayer on Outpost 2, and multiplayer back then was people taking turns on Colony Games!

Rolling, turning, diving, going in again
Run, live to fly, fly to live, do or die
Run, live to fly, fly to live. Aces high.
