Pandorum

It's a survival movie that takes place on a colony ship which was humanity's last hope for survival. The movie's name refers to a madness condition. When the movie starts, the conditions aboard the ship have already deteriorated to an apocalyptic state where a group of evolved human cannibals hunt normal humans*. All the events on the ship were the result of a domino effect initiated by person suffering from pandorum.

*A part of me wishes it had been an allegory of class warfare like in H.G. Wells' eloi and morlocks.

I rather enjoyed that movie. I watched it years ago.

I remember something about the colonists receiving an injection to help them adapt to their new environment faster, once they landed and were awakened on the new planet. Instead, the mission went awry and they began waking on the ship, long after they were supposed to have landed on the planet, and began evolving for life on the ship.
