Why did you post this if you don't like playing Outpost. Also we do have better things to do,   but then again we do what we love.

I use to play it non stop when it was on won, i belive that me and my friends where the first to get op2 when it first came out, we played it so much in jr highschool it was rediculous, we had clans seperate within our clan, we had rating systems, titles and the reason why i stoped was because my father took the game away from me because i played it too much, i resently just found where he put it and that is why im back online.

I got the game when it came out, so me and my dad could play.  He stopped after a while, but it's still a fun game.

I then got my friends into the game, and now we are working on OP3.  :D

I can't remember when i  got, all I know is that it was Christmas, and I was really young.  It was when the SIGS server was still up.  I wanted to go multiplayer, but my dad wouldn't let me because of the language of some of the people there.

I got my copy of OP2 when my friend gpgarrettboast wanted me to join his company as a model creator for the game OP3, but I had no idea what OP2 even was.  He got me the game and I played it.  From that day on I wanted to play as much as I could.  Garrett and me played over modems for hours.

wait, you got IRC to download at your school?  Lucky.  I guess, seeing as I have access to it by complete accident, I could play with the active x controls...

What are you going to do with the ActiveX controls?

You can't use them at all unless you can control COM somehow. (Which has to be programmed)

I don't think mIRC uses ActiveX controls anyway - so there is no way to establish an IRC link with mIRC components.

However it can be controlled thru DDE etc (the program has to be running)

Active x blocks it from downloading.  I can 'tweek' them just enough to download.

I always played OP2 on WON when it was connected to it... The problem is, of course, that I have no way to play it online now. Is there some program that one can download that shows what people are currently playing OP2 over TCP/IP? That would be sweet, cause then you could just put  in the IP to play with anyone!

 But anyway....

The peak hours for me at lease are 6:00PM to 9:00PM EST.  If you want to play people like Leviathan you will have to go a little earlier cause Leviathan lives 5 hours ahead of my time zone.

Hmm....it can't connect at all or is it when you connect that it appears that nobody is in the chat room. If you can't connect then your ISP is probly blocking the ports, but if you can then it might just be that your connecting to the US server.

The client will NOT work if you are behind a router... (Same problem as OP2)

Like idiots, we used UDP but didn't think of those implications. Now it's stuck.
