Hello From An Old Outpost Fan.

Hello all. I remember both games fondly, but especially outpost 2. I would play hours upon hours of the game, late at night.
In addition, I greatly enjoyed the soundtrack, in-game novel, and 'tales of new terra.'

I never played an online game, because during the years ago I didn't have the online capability. But now I do. I hope to play an online game, as well as enjoy all the memories playing these games again bring up.

Welcome.

You can download the latest version of Outpost 2 from here:
http://www.outpostuniverse.net/gamedownload.php
You'll need it for multiplayer, as different versions are not compatible.

Then the next trick is to find someone on IRC that wants to play at the same you do. Players sometimes get a little sparse, but considering how old the game is, that's probably not a big surprise.

You can also be like other people and lurk/Hamchat spam on Hamachi. I hate that. (But I do non-stop lurk, for medicinal purposes).

Also, despite the fact I -hate- competitive multiplayer, I'd be happy to play around with you (take that in a non-creepy way).
