Unable To Install... (64 Bit Os Here)
« on: January 08, 2009, 03:34:20 AM »
I've tried both the CD and download here, I even attemped to try combatibility mode but still no luck.

Is there anyway to get this game to install on a 64 bit OS? (Using Win XP Pro)

Exact error message: The program or features "\??\X:\setup.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatability with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64 bit windows combatible version is available"

Follow by error: WinExec error return: 11

I've heard 16 bits apps aren't supported in 64 bit mode. Apparently there is no way to switch the processor to 16 bit mode once you're in 64 bit mode.

virtualise?

VMware server v1.0.8 still has the console & audio support.

Then you can install Win XP 32bit (or lower) on your virtual machine and run your application through that?

Don't most OS's coded after a certain date have compatibility modes?
