Dead ?

It seems Digitalrice is down...

This was said at digitalrice...

We are taking this time to reconstruct Digitalrice. No date as to when we will accept new members. ALL accounts will be removed. Join the discussion here.
Thanks,

--------------------------------------------

I know Ck or betaray said something about this but i didnt pick up that part...

(almost a month old... but... sigh... seems to be old news)

I have part of the site but not everything...

The strange thing is...
That someone or something has altered the site http://op.virtualave.net/

The news item used to contain

-----------------------------------
For the friends of Gordon Freeman - February 19, 2001
Outpost 2 Online - February 6, 2001
Things will soon be changing... - February 4, 2001
Update to Map Editor - February 4, 2001
Outpost 3: Gameplay "Timeline" - February 4, 2001
Outpost 2 Won't diappear after all - February 3, 2001
A place for Outpost 2 players to chat - February 3, 2001
Stellarwave's Coming Soon List - February 2, 2001
Is Sierra dropping support of OP2? - February 1, 2001
Sierra closes its doors to Outpost 2 - February 1, 2001
-------------------------------------

Now it simply contains...
------------------------

------------------------

Part of the history of the original op3 is gone  :(

Perhaps this is a job for, Philip OP Tabloid writer...

The link on the side menu does not work, but the link in the main body of the news/home page does.

A month or so ago, I went through the same panic you did. Thankfully, I checked out the situation and noticed that the NHCS is still complete.

I cant get to it from school.  (BESS Filtering blocks it.)  But I will try to salvage all of the files I can, ZIP them, and distribute them so we Can post them on XFir's OP2 Site (Hint Hint).  We should try to salvage everything we can.

It shouldnt be too hard. Just take screenshots of everything. Files are useles because there are no files left to download from the site.

if you can still view the site, then there are files.  just write (or download) a web page capturer.  tell it to take the WHOLE page, but don't follow outside links. I'm gonna try when I get on Unfiltered internet.

Screenshots, that would take up a good bit of storage space. I was talking to xfir last night about the NHCS Forum. If he gets permission from KevinAr18, he could make the NHCS a forum in this very forum. It would be a view only forum and would be just another forum in OUF.

I could ask Kevin if I could have the DB file(s) it uses, and make something of those.

No, it was the one from the new haven command site.  I downloaded it a while back, but I never learned how to use it.  (I now use hackers. :) )
