No not Windows FTP ISS server..

What FTP server software shoud i use ?

I have used Serv-U for years but have run into a problem because you can only use the licence for one machine on the network. The server checks the network for other machines allready using that licence and if found the new server you just installed wont run.

So looks like I gotta change my FTP server software I use or use a old version of Serv-U.

The one I use on my windows laptop is War FTPd, it works pretty well. However the configuration isn't nearly as simple as Serv-U.

The other option would be to compile a unix ftpd on windows, i.e. pure-ftpd.

There are loads of FTPD's out there. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of a good one for Windows. I mite go for G6.

But yea I should get to grips with pure-ftpd and linux etc. I just put windows on my server over linux tho hehe.
