hello everyone, I wanted to know, about the editor of map, how one can programming volcanic eruptions and to place mines and units... thank you!

Welcome to the comunity. Were all here to help you. What you want can be done with programing. Its not part of the map editor as that just edits and creates the map files. You need to program that stuff in the mission code.

one can place mines with the programs which gere the missions... thank you Leviathan! but how made one to modify them? it is coded  :D

You realy dont have to know much c++ to program basic op2 multi maps. Its just placing stuff on the map.

Read the notes in the SDK.

how I do, when I have the script, for allot this script with a card? I have copy some pieces of the script of the muntiplayer hooville lol

I'll be posting more information about creating mines/units as well as creating a basic base (redundant?) and probably posting that online later tonight.

I'll also be going through, at some point, about actually creating realistic looking maps using the tools that we have as well as addressing some of the issues that I've uncovered thus far.

I wish I noticed this post earlier. Oh well, hopefully I can be of some help to you (and others)!

thank you leeor_net, that will be very useful for me! but, I would know do a card, to place the structures and all that, but I don't know where I can find the mission's scripts to modified them, there is nothing in sierra-maps when I open there from my compilator  :heh:

Thats all done in MSVC+ when you code the mission with the SDK.

The base info is in the BaseData.h file

I'll be covering the whole shebang. I've already written a part of the coding aspect (setting up a DLL file that will not only compile but will function with a base and a few resource locations).

Firstly download our version of Outpost 2 (1.3.3) from our site.

outpostuniverse.net/op2dl/

Get op2dl_complete.exe for all the files.

You can use this to extract the files from .vol
