I posted this thread in the multiplayer forum but ppl might see it better here.

hey ppl! I havent played op2 in years and i found it on your site and it kicks butt! Ive played some of the colony games to refresh my memory and its still cool. I want to play but im too lazy to go through the forums to find out how u guys play multi. I saw somethin about IRC but ive never used that....

Let me know when u guys usually play or if there are even enough ppl playing anymore!

Hi and welcome :)

Yeah, we use IRC to set up multiplayer games, and pretty much everything else too :P You really should get on IRC, there are always some people around there. You can either use the webbased IRC or download Mirc. I really suggest using Mirc.

Come on irc by downloading the above programs, you should be able to find someone to play at or around your skill level!

The download you want is mIRC 6.16 with NoName Script 3.81, its all you need to get to our chat room to play.

Once there your be able to chat and meet other players to get a game going.

OP2 is not like other games, its different, you cant just install it and play. You need to do some setup first. Hopefully your able to play online via direct online method and over VPN using Hamachi. The setup pages are here.

I hope you get into multi and enjoy it as much as we do.
