Hello everyone. I know it's been a long time since you all heard from me. I don't get much time to get near the computer these days. Let alone go online.
Well much has happened since we last spoke. I'm now completing my studies in IT and will be finished and fully qualified in 4 months and working (hopefully) full time.
I have had little time to be working on anything on the pc for a while now. I don't even play games anymore!
The story with OP3 is a sad one. I really wanted to complete this project as it was something I enjoyed the prospect of completing. I also met some great friends along the way. But with obstacle, after obstacle it was hard. I worked as well as I could. But I am only a one man team. Since I am on dial-up, having international partners was hard if not impossible.
The final straw came when my ISP got eaten up (again), by another company and they deleted my website. I couldn't upload for months as they moved the servers. By now I felt that this was a lost cause. I didn't have the time and I lost the drive.
But since I barely come here, you probably knew this was coming anyway.
To be perfectly honest, I'm not a programmer. I never have been, I can't stand programming. That's why I used Multimedia Fusion. But now when I look at it, the games that are made from such programs aren't very good.
I'm so very busy these days. That's why I don't contact people online and don't update. I felt bad for letting everyone down. You guys helped me through the hardest days of my life and I am so much stronger now. You all helped me, when many didn't.
But I needed to tell you all this. I'm sorry I didn't do it earlier and Ezekel had to break the news. I would have said all this in his email. But I was using a work terminal and had to get off quickly.
I'm sorry the dream died. But I'm 23 and will be 24 this year. I have to get working so I can save for a house and a new car. My career is starting soon and I'm eagar to get that going. I just don't have time anymore.
Well I hope that's covered it all.
I'll try to come visit when I can. I love the new website and I'm glad that the community has grown.
Maybe one day I'll join a tournament or something.
Or better yet, play a new Outpost game. Who knows?
Good luck to you all and thankyou again.
