I know what both are, and I have them both bought.   EV Nova is a great game, so is Freelancer.   I've done all 6 storylines in EV Nova.   My fav is the Auroran storyline.   I just like the Auroran weapons/ships...   I had 2 Auroran Carriers and 4 Cruisers in my fleet (captured them in my IDA Frigate before the storyline started).   At the end, I still had all the ships, plus a Carrier for myself.   I then went and took over every independant planet I could find, and even some of the Fed ones.
