Issue with the map editor
« on: May 05, 2004, 09:51:34 PM »
Every time I attemp to open the Map Editor, it says:

"Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not currently registered; a file is missing or invalid"

Could anyone help me with this?

You'd have to go to the creator himself.  I haven't gotten those errors since the beta version

Alright, this should resolve all problems you've been having with the mapper.

Download this file:
http://312productions.xfir.net/etc/mapperruntimes.exe
(1.06 mb)

Extract it into the folder where the mapper was extracted. Now try to run the editor. It should load and run with no errors.

(Also, I have fixed the update server error. It should now be able to connect to the update server without displaying any errors.)

Thank you much!

Time to make a scenario in which I'm not in immediate danger of being roasted by a volcano.
