« on: April 01, 2004, 10:53:04 AM »
After 4 months I'm actually back.

Well, since it'd be hard to read every single thread (and there are a lot as I already saw), could someone please sum up what happend during my absence?

X switched hosts, Garrett posted the OP3 launcher (the start up screen for the game) and v .3 of the game (look under his OP3: The final Chapter). What else big happened?.........

Well, thx.

I have taken some time (i.e. 6 hours) and read a few threads which seemed to be important.
So I found out, that op2hacker has finished his map-editor. :)

it makes maps fine except for the tileset error and sometimes it doesn't work well on big maps.

DLL support is yet to come, I'm bound by OP2sock. (check the forums and / or IRC to find out about that)

yeah, of course I'll go there, whenever possible.

But I don't always have SO much time, even if I'd be there, I could only ignore the chat.

Lol, man you like posting that. But Lev, people have good reasons for not using mIRC all the time, some of us are at school(eg. Me, Garrett, Mustang09-06, Garrettsgirl), sometimes people only have a limited time on the computer and hence the internet. Sometimes I'm lazy....lol...........well I'm off to make bagels.

There's nothing wrong with this advertising. I always see the same people in the IRC room.
It isn't justified to say, you wouldn't go there bcz of certain circumstances, if u actually never go there. (seems to apply to most ppl here)

I didn't say that there'e anything wrong with it.
If you read the forum over you'll see me say that I can't get on since I don't have the internet at home yet. I can't access it from work. I will have the internet in 6-10 business days (I signed up today), then I'll get on. But anyone who reads almost any thread will see an advertisement. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with it, just pointing out that it is all over the place.

Well yeah thats understandable if the computer's shared and you can't run it, or if you're at school.

But if it's totally your own computer, theres no reason why you wouldn't run it all the time....you can change your nick to tell ppl that you're gone.

That only applies if you have an always on connection like DSL or cable. If you have 56K, well then that wouldn't work. I'll have DSL within the next 2 weeks.
