Sorry if I missed anything about fumaroles in all the threads. Did fumaroles make it in to OutpostHD? I don't recall anyone ever finding one in Outpost 1.5.

Supposedly they did but I never came across one.
That stated, I've thought about it but I'm not sure how to implement it. Certainly not opposed to it, just unsure how to make it work from the standpoint of gameplay mechanics.
