Can't upload Avatar

Just tried to update my avatar and got the following message:

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

Not sure if this affects all uploads period or just the avatar uploads.

That would be all uploads. I'm aware of the write permission issues blocking uploads, but there's nothing I can do about it. I think Galactic or someone with a server shell account would need to fix this.

It's good to bring this up though, since nobody was working on it.

This should be sorted out now.

The forum was just moved to a new server. I believe there were directory permission issues that got sorted out during the move. There was also a max upload folder size for attachments and avatars, which had been exceeded. I've increased the cap, and attachments seem to be working again.

Woot! Finally got me my very own avatar pic!

dave_erald, you make me a bit uncomfortable. 

The extent of what I did was basically log in to the admin control panel, and change a number, adding a zero to the max upload folder size.

You can thank Galactic and BlackBox for the hard work. Galactic moved the forums. BlackBox helped get me set up with shell access.
