Large Fleet Battle - Crashing Issue

Hello.  I am trying to attack Plymouth in the Plymouth Cold War scenario, but every time I try, the game crashes...

Windows 8
Dual core i5
Patched version from this site
and
downloaded version with patches (same crash)

When I launch my fleet (64 Laser Lynx) against Plymouth the game seizes after about 20 units start battling.  This is frustrating as I spent several hours building up for the climactic battle...  :angry:

Can anyone help?

Plymouth Cold War is a mission made by this community and not yet finish. You are likely encountering a bug in the mission dll, which can only be fixed by editing the source code. We have the source code, but we probably don't have some one who is willing / has time to fix it.
