Op2 Sound Files
« on: February 12, 2010, 04:32:21 PM »
I want to rip the sounds out of the game, but VOLExtractor.exe doesn't work on Windows 7. I tried downloading MSCOMCTL.OCX, which it said it required, but it did not help. Is there anyone that's willing to extract the sound files for me, and then pack it up to a nice .zip, .7z, or .tar.gz or something?

I want to make my dekstop say "Command Control Initiated" when I log in :P

What about OP2Mapper?  It has the ability to extract/add/remove files from the VOLs.

Oh, I thought the mapper could only extract map-vols.

Download link is down (because the wiki is down), downloaded a bunch of mappers from outpost2.net/files/  .. only 1 worked. Extract-all crashed a bunch of times, had to manually extract all sounds.

Thanks!

Also: I can't get the typo out of the topic-title :o

Mez EDIT: Topic title corrected

AmI EDIT: Thanks Mez! And I fixed some typos in this post as well.. can't believe I missed them.
