Plymouth Colony Starship - Help Pls

I have recently dusted off my OP2 CD and decided to give it a go again.

I am beating my head against the wall trying to figure out how to get the metals, colonists and food to the spacecraft... I can come up with the materials and men... just cant find the way to get them into the spacecraft....

Suggestions please, I'm feeling very noobish.

After you have researched all of the other modules, built them in the spaceport and launched them into space (last one being the phoenix module), you then have the options to build 3 more modules: Food, common metals & rare metals.

It contains some bug fixes, all the scenario packs and user made content, (Extra single player and multiplayer maps).
