That's why I suggested making a new unit for the sole purpose of trying to salvage some (not all) regional coordination when your RCC gets blown by who knows what...

Why go through the trouble of building lots of extra units "just in case" when you could just have a spare RCC in storage for the same reason?

Meh, I quit trying. Keeping one kit for every building you might need replaed in case on goes boom isn't really going to help, when your SF can only keep so much at once.

I supose there are some real life equivalents to this idea, which do prove effective. But like has been stated, the game play of Outpost just doesn't seem to make these worthwhile.
