New Command & Conquer Game

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.

With the announcement by EA in April 2006 of a new Command & Conquer game (C&C3), it is unlikely we'll be seeing Red Alert3 in the near future.

looks nice - but that dosent make a game - generals looked good but was a poor game.

They've decided to bring GDI and NOD back!! Maybe they can actually get the series back on track. Atleast the stories fit nicely together up until tiberian sun.

Funny name they've chosen too, as tiberium wars is the nickname for the first C&C game.

yeah ive been following this since late 2003. some of the screenshots floating around the net are up to 4 years old and are merely concept shots. from everything ive read, its either vaporware or is stuck in development hell. i think all anyone knows is that if it was REALLY being made, it would include GDI and NOD, Green, Blue and Pink Tiberium and units would be of realistic scale and proportion to structures and infantry.

EDIT: Pfft, nevermind! Looks like Ive been out of the loop! Its not vaporware! It is real! Now we all have a reason to live!!

UPDATE: Dude, go here. The casting for the CnC3 has some people from Lost and Battlestar Galactica! Cool.

Anyone played C&C3? My housemate just finished the GDI campaign and Ive played a few multiplayer games. I dont like the superweapons/powers.

Yeah, I played it it quite a bit when it just came out. Finished all three campaigns, whooped everyone in multiplayer at my cybercafé. Now no one wants to play it with me anymore :/

Agreed, superweapons suck. Still they are very easy to deal with, it's not like you have to go looking for where your enemy built it.
