How to make Outpost 2 Maps?

Yeah, big coding newb in the house, but I want the down-lo on how ya'll make maps and dll's to go with the maps. I have no previous coding knowlege, abeit from major web design skill. So C++/Visual Basic is just wayyy outta my range. But if I have to know how to code them I'll learn. I'm highly interested in coding for/with Outpost 2. So someone write me a decent sized tutorial type thing on how to do this. Thanks a ton for helping out a newb.

i would go to http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ to get some of the basic things and syntax etc, then i would get the op2dllsdk (dllsdk).

After you have some of the basic stuff from the tutorial, start playing around with Hooville (the template). Usually there will be someone on irc to help you if you have questions.

btw you should join #outpost2.coding for coding help

You can make and edit the map files using the op2 map editors.

The DLL coding must be done with MSVC.
