Ah yes, i do rember that trick from WON now... people would build fac's at the side of there base of pie, do that and put units on the clifs. Very cheaky hehe. Not what i expected, thought u found a way to drive thru them or somthing hehe.

Now that we can edit cell types we can make it not be able to be done, by making all of the clifs impassable.

HEHEHEHE.  I never said it was a good trick.  But I do remember a Map Team La corrdia were the Convec can drive up a part of the cliff.  The cliff was just above the lower right hand base.

Yes, very nice trick. I'd imagine most games like this have that sort of thing happen. And yeah, that could be prevented with a cell type edit.

The only way to keep some off the top of the mountain would be to make the whole top if the mountain impassible.  But i think that is what was already said.

i've done that a couple of times with scorpions and spiders - well not up cliffs, but i knew it was possible after the started appearing on the far side of an adjacent structure factory
