ive got an idea for a tournament

i need to know whos interested, then ill decide on the maps and match-ups

as far as a prize goes you get the ability to know the winning % of whoever wants it posted, you get to know who you beat, and you get experiance and practice

i just thought of this, as a prize ill give 50 points to the winner, but if i do this will cause a 2 point entrance fee to be eligable for the prize, you can still be in the tourny and not pay but you wont get the fifty points

so kramy you want in?

Sure, though I have to ask what maps will be played. I get slaughtered on Pie(for two reasons).

A ) Never played plymouth.
B ) Eden needs time to prepare(la corrida or land rush)

okay so far i believe we have ck, kramy, and i there will be a total of 6 different maps, and 3 modes of play, each contestant will have played on each map at least once and on some map in each of the tree modes before the tourny gets done. the maps and modes will be:

pie-------------------los
la corrida------------los
barren land---------lr
threes a crowd-----los lr
biohazard ----------space race (sr)
around the world---sr lr los

i hope i can be there to referee or confirm results but unfortunantly i can be there all the time, as you should have noticed, all of these maps are at least three player so it will be you, your opponent, and a nuetral third party to confirm results. if no nuetral third party is available i will need a screenshot from both of you taken at the time when it says "victory is sweet" or "you have failed"

I'll try to work on the winsock as much as I can from now on. (I would have continued it yesterday but I was being bothered about some web sites crap... :-( )

When do you plan to have the tourney? I'll try and get the op2sock done in a couple weeks but as you all know it keeps screwing up.

by the way im going to change the prize thing
it will now be fugured as:
50/x=y where "x" is the number of people that are trying and "y" is how much you pay, any decimal will be rounded down

i dont want to loose points over this tourny

course, i also need that sock before i can get op2 running... damn, i havent played for so long, i hope everything is still instinct to me, because right now i cant even remember what one of my beloved starflares looks like.

btw Kramy u better learn to use Plymouth, if not ur just get killed at the start.
