Four civilian U.S. contractors were killed in a grenade attack today in central Iraq, U.S. officials said. A cheering crowd in Fallujah pulled the charred bodies from burning vehicles and hung them from a Euphrates River bridge. At least one of the bodies was dragged through the streets, witnesses said.

The fatalities bring the U.S. military death toll in Iraq to 600, 408 of them in hostile action.

I think that we should continue to try to get that country to order. If we back out now it will show that we are weak and will run when the going get's too tough. I'm in the military and I think this even though I have a chance of being sent there.

We should not give up! Their government is currently unstable.  If we back out, we will be considered cowards, ant the terrorist attacks will continue until one of their leaders (The terrorists that is) is in power.

Exactly, so this is why we can't elect Kerry into office, because he just wants to give up on them. Yes we are losing people, but how many people will be lost when we have to go back in there or get surprise attacked by them?

Yeah I found this funny movie where they took Kerry's audio clips and made it sound like he was saying other stuff, but we must persist in Iraq, or they will never see order and peace.

Oops, I meant to click Yes. Sorry about that.
Anyways, at this rate, it will take at least 5 years to get any kind of order in Iraq. And the death toll just keeps getting higher. This is all senseless fighting that has claimed hundreds, if not thousands, of lives and will claim even more.

Yes, we should be in there. There have been ties found to Al Quieda. And Osama Bin Laden has been quoted saying "You will pay for freeing Iraq."

Yes, the deaths go up, and yes it is sad. But we forget that hundreds of thousands of people died in WW2.

It does take sacrifices to free a country. And unfortinately some people cannot see that.

I also think that we should have fire/carpet bombed Fallujah after giving a 24 hour warning to the citizens. So that that city could never again be used for terrorristic purposes.

Lol....As I said before, I am definitely supportive of the war, and that's a lot to say since any day I could be deployed to go there. I would gladly go over there and fight them. I may be in the Air Force, but we're the one's that are protecting the supply convoys, so that would be a damn dangerous job, but I would do it without question.

the thing I think is funny is that people who are against the war justify it by saying that we have not found WMD's and thus he never had them, adn was never a threat blah blah blah

when in fact there are documented cases of Saddam using biological and chemical weps on the Kurds, so he had them, its just when he found out that we were invading (wich we warned him many times giving him plenty of time) he eather destroyd them, bueried them in the middle of the desert, or sent them to other countrys

just because we havnt found them, dosnt mean he never had them

We did like we've done in the last few wars, we tell them we're coming and give them time to prepare. Of course he had them, but even if he didn't, we are still safer without him there.

Saddam had WMD and probably sent them over the border to Syria. Maybe he did bury them, maybe he ate them for breadfast, I don't know...but I believe that he had them.

-Sigh-

Try reading unbiased media next time, ok?

First off, the media is mostly biased. This has been proven. Watch Fox News, they aren't.

They tend to make the deaths sound as bad as possible. This is just a media thing. More people watch if it sounds absolutely horrid. We are morbid people.

As for Iraq, I couldn't care either way.. they will hate us still anyway.

I agree, Fox News is the most unbiased new media. The media usually worsen a situation. There have been kidnappings by other nations, and when they were about to be let go, the media starts broadcasting about it and then the kidnappers decide not to let them go becuase they have value now. By kidnappings I mean by terrorists. This has happened several times to captured military people. In Iraq, Heraldo Rivera (sp?) commited treason in my mind by telling troop position and other things about our forces that got men killed, just so that he could get the good story.

I realize that he worked for Fox News, but they still have the most unbiased reporting. The media has come to value a good story over human life and it is sad. I think that they have too much freedom and that they shouldn't be allowed in war zones or anywhere else they're going to cause a lot of damage to our country.

WTF are you talking about, they have aided terrorist many times. They had many connections to Al Quadia (sp?). So of course they had lots to do with terrorists. News agencies won't tell you of all the connection's they had because it is a much more entertaining story to sit there and bash the administration than to help them. Why don't you get your facts straight there.
