3 brave colony commanders started, but only 1 could be left standing after the carnage.
Lugia, hungry for revenge after last match vs High and drib, started out defensively and left the fighting to the two others. As Drib was the only Plymouth player, High wasted no time in trying to level his colony.
As it followed, there was a range of skirmishes, High vs Drib, where the battle went back and forth and High was almost through on a couple of occasions before Dribs ore shortage led him down a steep road to disaster - almost at least. High didn't destroy all his Cargo's and thus he was able to crawl back into the match as Highlander turned his focus on Lugia.
Lugia had gotten his rare ore going while the two others where squabbeling over who had the most and mightiest lynx, and wasted no time get his tigers in the field. Highlander, being a bit slower here ended up putting a few tigers up in his last defense, which proved to be too small to stop the advancing green army.
After having finished High, Lugia turned his focus north upon a battered Drib. Taking no chances this time, due to Drib's EMP Missiles, Lugia buildt up his defenses before moving on to cut off Drib's ore pipeline.
A few setbacks and pauses were observed as EMP Missiles soared up and down, though never quite catching Lugia's army as intended.
In the end the Lugia's green army proved unstoppable, and Drib had to settle for 2nd place.

(As you can see in the end - and this was unnoted by the reporter, Drib actually got very close to winning when he punched into Lugia's base. Unfotunately he had to settle for the SF, which did not alter the course of the match)
