Uhh... What?
Could you be a bit more specific?

Well, "it" probably refers to Renegades, as the topic title suggests...
But what part of Renegades?  Are you having trouble installing it?  Running it?  Download it?  Be specific.

well the fact he said "It doesn't do anything it just sits there looking at me" makes me think one of 3 things:
1) game isn't loading --> needing to run in compatability mode
2) menus aren't responding to clicking --> possible corruption in coding
3) colony isn't listening to commands --> huston, we have a problem

4) not using correct OP2 version --> Use the one supplied on the renegades' website
Rule #1:  Eddy is always right
Rule #2: If you think he's wrong, see rule #1

You probably installed OP2 to the wrong directory, or put Renegades in the wrong place.

Check the instructions...

I'm thinking that, when you installed renegades, you just hit next on each window, 'cause I remember it asking me which directory the executable is in.

BTW, eddy, did you guys ever find the cause of the bug?

Just do what it says when you're installing it.
But, since I have some free time, I'll give you a tip.
Whatever folder you installed OP2 to, install Renegades to that folder + "modren" (so, for example, if you installed OP2 to "C:\Sierra\Outpost 2 Divided Destiny\" you'd want Renegades installed to "C:\Sierra\Outpost 2 Divided Destiny\modren\").  I'm pretty sure it automatically does that for you, though, so just give it your OP2 directory.  Then, run the Renegades shortcut.

There's an Evac Trans in Mission 4?
If you're talking about the defector's ET in Mission 3, if that gets killed (or put inside a Garage) the mission should end in failure.

Well, Eddy-B did warn that Missions 3 and 4 were buggy...

let's see...the first 2 are kinda boring and frustrating to try to complete without sound, the third takes a couple of tries to get done perfectly, the final (fourth) is very difficult, even on the easiest level.  I ended up using the weapon distance trainer to finish it, and lost almost all my attack units still.

Mission 4 is silly.

I was just lucky to have finished it once, after numerous tries (on easy).

What bugs me the most is that you may just take the time to research Stickyfoam in the previous mission, and still you get none in the next mission. Either the rebels are missing something in the tactics department, or Eddy-B just wanted to make our lives harder.

I would really like a Sticky RPG.

And finally when I finish all the objectives it freezes like 1 second before it says mission completed. all I have to say is this you are a cruel horrible person eddy lol

Well, your choices are the original OP2 campaigns, which are boring, Renegades, which is buggy, and MT2, which is blatantly incomplete.
